Ten years after the zombie apocalypse, survivors in an underground bunker allow a stranger inside for the first time, and he forces them to confront their fears and what it means to be alive.
A collaboration with composer Alex Petti, “Guts” is a musical drama that explores themes of depression, fear of the unknown, and regret through a human story told in the zombie genre. Written over the course of two years, a premiere workshop production was mounted in the Spring of 2015 after a successful crowdfunding campaign raising just under $3000.
